It is time for me to draw a line in the sand and beat my nemesis the pull up. I am pretty sure that I have never been able to complete one unassisted. I can’t remember a time as a kid and I definitely have not as an adult. Right now I’m inspired to work out until I can do three sets of ten pull ups, but being inspired isn’t going to get me any results. I am giving myself 30 weeks to make this a reality and following a program called Convict Conditioning. I could try and push this goal, but that has never worked before. Instead, I’m going to take my time and show up daily and allow the compound interest effect to build up until I can achieve that one thing that has always eluded me.
